Are you planning on a vacation to a national park or historical area any time soon? With the government shut down going on there is much to be left confused about regarding if there is anything even remaining open that can be seen. Depending where you may be looking to go, there may still be some things that you can explore and enjoy during this month.
UTAH’S NATIONAL PARKS
Are re-opening this week for at least the next 10 days due to state funding as opposed to government funding. The state did not want people to miss the beautiful October views because of the government shut down so they found a way to re-open without needing the government.
If you live out west or just have some vacation time coming up, this is a great time of year to go exploring in any of Utah’s national parks including Bryce Canyon National Park, Arches National Park and Zion National Park for example.
Most of these sites allow camping, hiking, fishing, biking and horseback riding for your pleasure.
