8 Epic eBay Auctions Backed By Stupidity

September 27th, 2013 by in Funny with 631 Views

We all have heard of crazy riduculous eBay auctions were a kid sells his toenails for $3. Well we hunted around to find the most outrageously stupid eBay auctions ever, and this is what we found.

1) Ian Usher’s life

This Australian man put his life up for auction in June 2008. As part of his auction he included his 3 bedroom house with everything in it, his car, his motorcycle, jet ski and parachuting materials.  He also included his friends and a two week trial at his job. His plans for the day his life sold was to take his wallet and passport and get on the first plane available and just see where life takes him.  His entire life sold for $384,000.

2) Weekend with 4 Australian men.

In 2007, 4 Australian men were selling a weekend full of “beer, snacks, and a [heck] of a lot of laughs”. This bid started at $0.01 AU and ended at $1300AU.

3) A woman’s virginity

Catarina Migliorini, a Brazilian student, put her virginity up on eBay for $780,000 on October 15, 2012. One may think that she wouldn’t have had many bidders or that this is even legal, however when the auction ended she had 15 bids.

4) Ghost in a jar

Martin Fawcett in 2010 put his friend Ghost on eBay in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK. He told potential bidders that the ghost isn’t yet named but giggles when he is called Casper and likes to be let out of the jar for 20 minutes at a time. Six days after the auction began it ended due to eBay rules of not selling items in which the existence can not be verified such as ghosts, souls or spirits.

I think this just goes to show you that anything is possible these days. First off, I would never sell my life, and if I did, I think I would value it at more than $370,000??? I think one thing I would want to know is if these things ever happened. Did that person really get the car for 77 cents? Did that girl really lose her virginity to the pay that paid for it?

In the phil. a lot of people really sell thier internal organs because of poverty and a lot of money problems, some would even kidnap, take the organs and sell them, sad to say but it’s true
