I’ve seen a lot of technological innovations in my 50 years on planet Earth, and I sat down the other day and listed out as many of them as I could. That helped me put together this list of the 20 biggest tech innovations of my lifetime that I actually use on a daily basis. Some of these I use more than others, but I use them all at least once a month.

Top 20 Tech Innovations of Last 50+ Years

Here’s a look at 20 specific technology innovations of the last fifty years, plus or minus a few years.

  15. MRI – Magnetic resonance imaging technology has helped many people – including myself – by making it easier to see what’s going on inside the body.

  16. GPS – Global positioning satellites are very helpful to many different people. Thanks to satellites, this technology has come a long way over the years.
