October 2nd, 2013 by in Design with 581 Views

Mom never said, “don’t wear what you eat”! Here are some fascinating examples of jewelry that looks like miniature examples of real food. In Japan, people do some crazy things.

In Japan if you walk through any food court or eatery you’ll find walls full of plastic food. These displays are designed to show potential diners exactly what they’ll receive if they order a particular dish, from the portion size to the ingredients right down to the little garnishes.

Food sample companies are now getting creative and branching out into other non-food related markets, starting with the Hatanaka company and their new line of faux-food accessories.

Japanese manufacturer of fashion accessories Fake Food Hatanaka had the idea to create a line of strange and unusual accessories of bobby pin in the form of french fries with ketchup, a necklace in the form of pizza, cheeseburger pendant, wrap hair in the form of bacon and eggs, earings in the form of spaghetti ” Bolognese “or beads sausages. These are just some of the mouth-watering fashion accessories!
